TO
HOUSE BILL NO. 193
AMEND House Bill No. 193 on line 19 by striking the phrase “ [enactment date] ” and inserting in lieu thereof the phrase “ January 1, 2026 ”.
FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 193 on line 21 by striking the phrase “ [enactment date] ” and inserting in lieu thereof the phrase “ January 1, 2026 ”.
SYNOPSIS
This amendment changes the effective date until January 1, 2026, to allow the Division of Revenue additional time to communicate with taxpayers, update forms, and modify the tax system used to report and collect the fee.
