HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 396

AMEND House Bill No. 396 on line 19 by deleting " globally " as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof " in Delaware ".

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 396 on line 30 by deleting “ Bar establishments and alcoholic beverages are exempt. ” and inserting in lieu thereof “ Alcoholic beverages, and bar and restaurant establishments that sell alcohol, are exempt from the provisions of this chapter. ”.

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment specifies that this Act applies to businesses with more than 20 locations in Delaware as opposed to more than 20 locations globally. This Act further clarifies that establishments that sell alcohol, including bars and bars in restaurants, are exempt.
