HOUSE BILL NO. 306
AMEND House Bill No. 306 by deleting line 44 in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
“ (1) Actual damages or statutory damages of $1,000, whichever is greater. ”.
SYNOPSIS
House Amendment 3 to House Bill 306 clarifies that the amount of damages able to be awarded in a cause of action under the Act is either 1) the amount of actual damages or 2) statutory damages of $1,000, whichever is greater.
