SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

SENATE BILL NO. 41

AMEND Senate Bill No. 41 on line 55 by deleting " alcohol and drug dependencies " after " of " and before " that " therein and inserting in lieu thereof " serious mental illnesses and drug and alcohol dependencies ".

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 41 on line 57 by deleting " alcohol and drug dependencies " after " of " and before " where " therein and inserting in lieu thereof " serious mental illnesses and drug and alcohol dependencies ".

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 41 on line 186 by deleting " alcohol and drug dependencies " after " of " and before " that " therein and inserting in lieu thereof " serious mental illnesses and drug and alcohol dependencies ".

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 41 on line 188 by deleting " alcohol and drug dependencies " after " of " and before " where " therein and inserting in lieu thereof " serious mental illnesses and drug and alcohol dependencies ".

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment requires access to a 5 day emergency supply of prescribed medications covered under the health benefit plan for the treatment of serious mental illnesses.
