HOUSE BILL NO. 91
AMEND House Bill No. 91 by striking lines 43 and 44 and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
“information is sought, and include identifying information only if nonidentifying information could not be used upon a showing of need ;”
SYNOPSIS
This amendment clarifies that there must be an affirmative showing of need for law enforcement to obtain identifying information.
