SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

SENATE BILL NO. 15

AMEND Senate Bill No. 15 by deleting lines 9 through 12 in their entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“ laboratory testing for Lyme disease, like all standard laboratory tests, can result in false negatives and false positives. If you continue to experience unexplained symptoms, you ”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 15 after line 18 by inserting the following:

“Section 2. This Act expires 3 years after its enactment into law, unless otherwise provided by a subsequent act of the General Assembly.”

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment revises the language in the notice provided to patients and sunsets this Act in 3 years, unless extended by the General Assembly.
