HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

SENATE BILL NO. 60

AMEND Senate Bill No. 60 by inserting after line 12 the following:

(c) A person, less than 18 years of age, is guilty of prostitution when the person knowingly and intentionally engages or agrees or offers to engage in sexual conduct with another in return for a fee and the person was not under duress. ”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment clarifies that a person under 18 years of age may be guilty of prostitution if they knowingly and intentionally engaged in such and they are not under duress.
