HOUSE BILL NO. 225
AMEND House Bill No. 225 on lines 8 through 10 of on page 219 by deleting the following:
“ If the actual negotiated or bid costs are lower than the maximum rate specified above, the charter school may keep the difference for educational purposes that serve low-income and/or English Learners. ”.
SYNOPSIS
This Amendment removes the ability of a charter school to retain transportation funds if the negotiated or bid costs are lower than the maximum rate established under this Act.
