SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 205

AMEND House Bill No. 205, as amended, between lines 2 and 3 by inserting the following:

“ § 5101. Definitions.”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 205, as amended, between lines 115 and 116 by inserting the following:

“§ 5111. Issuance of license; renewal; reinstatement; lapsed license.”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 205, as amended, by deleing lines 146 through 162 in their entirety.

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment removes the increase in the permissible apprentice-to-licensed professional ratio in a cosmetology shop, thereby leaving the existing ratio of a maximum of 2 apprentices for each licensed professional in a shop.

This Amendment also makes 2 technical corrections.
