SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

SENATE BILL NO. 176

AMEND Senate Bill No. 176 after line 34 and before line 35 by inserting the following and redesignating Delaware Code designations accordingly:

“ b. Has successfully completed the minimum number of classroom hours of instruction. ”.

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment clarifies that a student must have successfully completed the minimum number of classroom hours of instruction of the driver education course to be eligible for a driver’s education learner’s permit, known colloquially as a “white certificate”.
