HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 66

EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE FOR THE PHARMACY REIMBURSEMENT TASK FORCE.

WHEREAS, the Pharmacy Reimbursement Task Force (“Task Force”) was established under House Concurrent Resolution No. 57 of the 150th General Assembly to study reimbursement practices of pharmacy benefit managers (“PBMs”), investigate the perceived disparity in PBM reimbursement rates, and study the best practices adopted by other states to address concerns with reimbursement practices of PBMs; and

WHEREAS, the Task Force was directed to issue a final report to members of the General Assembly and the Governor by December 15, 2019; and

WHEREAS, the Task Force has met regularly, beginning in September 2019; and

WHEREAS, the Task Force has worked diligently on its study, but is not yet prepared to submit its report; and

WHEREAS, in order to appropriately conclude the Task Force’s work, the Task Force’s final report deadline must be modified.

NOW, THEREFORE:

BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the 150th General Assembly of the State of Delaware, the Senate concurring therein, that the date by which the final report of the Task Force is due is extended to March 31, 2020.

SYNOPSIS

This Concurrent Resolution extends the due date of the Pharmacy Reimbursement Task Force's report to March 31, 2020.
