AMEND Senate Bill No. 139 on line 90 by adding “ consecutive ” after “ 9 ” and before “hours”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment makes clear that cruelty to animals includes tethering a dog for 9 consecutive hours or more in any 24-hour period.
