HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 135

AMEND House Bill No. 135 by deleting lines 10 through 12 and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“ a. A firefighter, emergency medical technician (EMT), ambulance, or rescue company member who is an active member of a volunteer or municipal fire department in this state, or a designated first responder, including covered firefighters who are volunteers, partly paid, or full-time employees. ”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment adds ambulance and rescue company members to the definition of covered firefighters.
