HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 7

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 150

AMEND House Bill No. 150 on line 572 by inserting after “ Opaque, ” and before “ child-resistant packaging ” as they appear therein the following: “ resealable and continually ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 150 on line 577 by inserting after “ machinery, ” and before “ and ” as they appear therein the following: “ the impact on pregnant and breastfeeding women, ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 150 by inserting after line 579 and before line 580 the following:

l. A label that indicates the product is not for children.

m. All required information must be in typed, legible font that is easy to read, is unobstructed and conspicuous, and contrasts sufficiently with the background, is in English, but can contain text in additional languages. ”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment adds requirements to the packaging and labeling of marijuana and marijuana products to enhance child safety.
