HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 149

AMEND House Bill No. 149 by deleting Lines 9 and 10 in their entirety.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 149 on Line 11 by deleting “ f. ” and inserting in lieu thereof “ e. ” and by deleting “ $45 ” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof “ $65 ”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 149 on Line 14 by deleting “6 months after its enactment into law.” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof “July 1, 2022.”

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment deletes the reduced fee for passes and annual fees for residents and non-residents age 62 or older. The Amendment increases the lifetime pass fee for Delaware residents from $45 to $65. Lastly the Amendment changes the effective date from 6 months after enactment to July 1, 2022.
