SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 2

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 290

AMEND House Bill No. 290, as amended by House Amendment No. 1 and House Amendment No. 2 to House Bill No. 290, by deleting the quotation mark on line 6 of House Amendment No. 1 to House Bill No. 290 and inserting the following after line 6:

“ d. If sold by a restaurant, be sold with food that accounts for not less than 60% of the customer’s total transaction. ”

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment requires that, in addition to volume limitations, a restaurant sell food that accounts for not less than 60% of a customer’s total transaction when the take-out, curbside, or drive-through sale includes alcoholic beverages.
