TO
HOUSE BILL NO. 666
AMEND House Bill No. 666 by striking the words "cause of death certificate" on line 33 of the bill and substituting the words "written report of postmortem findings" in lieu thereof.
FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 666 by adding the word "written" on line 39 of the bill immediately following the word "upon" and before the word "request".
This amendment would substitute the more accurate description "written report of postmortem findings" for "cause of death certificate." In addition the amendment would make clear that a request for a copy of the postmortem examination, etc., must be in written form.
