HOUSE BILL NO. 111

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 21 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING ANTIQUE AUTOMOBILES OR MOTOR VEHICLES REGISTERED ANTIQUE AND INSPECTION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1. Amend Title 21, Chapter 21, Section 2199(b) by replacing it with a new subsection (b) which shall read as follows:

"(b) Antique automobiles or motor vehicles registered antique shall be exempt from annual inspection after the initial inspection and registration within the State of Delaware.".

SYNOPSIS

This amendment will exempt registered antique vehicles from further inspection after the initial inspection. These vehicles have restricted use licenses and most states exempt antique vehicles from inspection.
