WHEREAS, teachers are professionals who are dedicated to educating children and young adults so they can become knowledgeable, productive members of society;
WHEREAS, the education of
WHEREAS, teachers dedicate many hours of their time to
improve the quality of education in the State of
WHEREAS, the week of
WHEREAS, the recognition of one day during the week of May 2, 2004 as Teacher Appreciation Day will encourage students, parents and society to show their support and respect for the dedication of all teachers.
BE IT ENACTED by the House and concurrently with the Senate of the 142nd General Assembly.
