HOUSE BILL NO. 547

AN ACT AWARDING SPECIAL PENSION BENEFITS TO DONNA MAZEWSKI AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF PENSION TRUSTEES TO ADMINISTER PAYMENT OF THE PENSION PROVIDED BY THIS ACT AS IF THE AWARD WERE PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 55, TITLE 29, DELAWARE CODE.

WHEREAS, Ms. Donna Mazewski is a Psychiatric Social Worker at the Department of Services for Children, Youth and their Families; and

WHEREAS, Donna Mazewski is retiring from active State service; and

WHEREAS, Donna Mazewski needs six (6) years of additional credited State service.

NOW, THEREFORE:

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1. The Boards of Pension Trustees is hereby authorized and directed to grant Ms. Donna Mazewski six (6) years of pension credit, effective upon full execution of this Act, as if such award was made pursuant to Chapter 55, Title 29 of the Delaware Code.

Section 2. The total sum necessary to effect this legislation and provide adequate support to the pension fund amounts to $43,500.

SYNOPSIS

This Act authorizes and directs the Board of Pension Trustees to grant service pension credits in the amount of six (6) years to Ms. Donna Mazewski.
