AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 22 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE POSSESSION OR CONCEALMENT OF PAINTBALL GUNS WITHIN THE CITY OF WILMINGTON.


 


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE (Two-thirds of all members elected to each house thereof concurring therein):

 


Section 1.  Amend § 111, Title 22 of the Delaware Code, by inserting therein a new sentence as follows:

“Notwithstanding the provisions of this section to the contrary, the City of Wilmington may, in addition to the nature and extent of regulation permitted by this section, enact any law or ordinance governing the possession or concealment of a paintball gun within its corporate limits as it deems necessary to protect the public safety.”


SYNOPSIS

This Act empowers the City of Wilmington to enact any law or ordinance governing the possession or concealment of a paintball gun within its corporate limits as it deems necessary to protect the public safety.
