FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 240 by striking the number “7101” on line 11 and substituting in lieu thereof the number “8801”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 240 by striking the word “Sussex” on lines 10, 12 and 15.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 240 by striking the number “7102” on lines 13 and 22 and substituting in lieu thereof the number “8802”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 240 by striking the number “7106” on line 18 and substituting in lieu the number “8806”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 240 by adding after the word “County” on line 24 the following:

“and Kent County, and the Department of Land Use for New Castle County”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 240 by striking the phrase “or designees” on line 27 and substituting in lieu thereof the following:

“, the President of Levy Court for Kent County, or the County Executive for New Castle County or their designees”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 240 by adding the words “Kent, New Castle, or” after the word “means” and before the word “Sussex” on lines 28 and 172.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 240 by striking the number “7106” on lines 30, 33, 72, 91 and 120 and substituting in lieu thereof the number “8806”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Bill No. 240 by striking the number “7103” on line 37 and substituting in lieu thereof the number “8803”.

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment enables New Castle County and Kent County to utilize tax increment financing and special development districts.
