HOUSE BILL NO. 411

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 29, DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE REPORTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1. Amend § 5814, Subchapter II, Chapter 58, Title 29, Delaware Code by adding a new subsection to read as follows:

"(c) Portions of the reports filed pursuant to this subchapter regarding gifts received shall be made available on the State's website by the Commission.".

Section 2. This Act shall become effective six (6) months after the specific appropriation of funds for such purposes in the Annual Appropriations Act.

SYNOPSIS

Subject to obtaining funds in the Appropriations Act, the portion of public officials' financial disclosure reports regarding gifts filed with the Public Integrity Commission would be made available on the State's website.
