AN ACT TO AMEND |
BE IT ENACTED
BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF
Section 1. Amend Section 2 of Chapter 210, Volume 73, Laws of Delaware entitled TERRITORY AND LIMITS by inserting therein, immediately after the last sentence thereof, the following new paragraph:
All that certain piece, parcel and tract of land lying and being situate in Broadcreek Hundred, Sussex County, Delaware, and shown on a plot prepared by Miller Lewis Land Surveyors, Inc, being described more particularly:
Beginning at the most northeasterly point of the said parcel with said point situate on the low mean water line of the Nanticoke River; thence South 26°3944 East a distance of 37.18 to a point on the northerly side of the right of way of State Route 20, also known as Concord Road; thence continuing a distance of 70.03 necessary to cross said road and reach a concrete monument found on the southerly right of way line of said road and the westerly right of way line of Simon Street; thence with the right of way line of Simon Street ( 30R/W) South 26°3944 East a distance of 134.83 to a post (found); thence continuing on said street North 59°5532 East a distance of 29.64 to an iron pipe (found); thence with the lands of Ellen Scharf, now or formerly, North 59°3931 East a distance of 50.36 to an iron pipe (found); thence with the lands of Leona W. & Bobby A. Prillhart, now or formerly, South 26°5340 East a distance of 28.63 to a field stone (found); thence continuing with said lands North 58°0816 East a distance of 221.68 to a field stone (found); thence with the lands of Francis H. Bennett Heirs, now or formerly, South 32°3040 East a distance of 38.31 to a field stone (found); thence continuing with said lands North 59°0745 East a distance of 154.16 to a concrete monument (found); thence continuing with said lands North 34°5539 West a distance of 59.62 to a concrete monument (found); thence with lands of Rick T. & Colleen H. Elliott, now or formerly, North 59°0126 East a distance of 171.04 to an iron rod (found); thence continuing with said lands North 31°3046 West a distance of 3.00 to a concrete monument (found); thence with the lands of Donald W. ONeal, now or formerly, North 57°1402 East a distance of 121.70 to an iron pipe (set); thence with the westerly right of way of Sussex County Road #481 South 31°0912 East a distance of 215.84 to a concrete monument (found); thence with the lands of David B. Webb, JR, now or formerly, South 58°5802 West a distance of 856.76 to a concrete monument (found); thence continuing with said lands South 25°5425 East a distance of 300.25 to a concrete monument (found); thence with the lands of Little Meadows, Inc. ,now or formerly, through Conectiv R/W (150 wide) South 58°0234 West a distance of 544.16 to a concrete monument (found); thence with the lands of Little Meadows Subdivision, now or formerly, North 24°1753 West a distance of 752.73 to an iron pipe (found); thence with the lands of Harold McTeer, now or formerly, North 86°1748 East a distance of 111.93 to an iron pipe (found); thence with the lands of Jose M. Febels & Joann Forisquet, now or formerly, South 24°3507 East a distance of 147.39 to an railroad spike (found); thence continuing with said lands North 63°2612 East a distance of 103.26 to an iron pipe (found); thence continuing with said lands North 25°5929 West a distance of 257.20 to an iron pipe (found); thence crossing over Delaware Road Rt. 20, also known as Concord Road, to the northerly side of said road continuing on same bearing to a point; thence North 25°5929 West a distance of 23.26 to a point; thence following the low water mark of Nanticoke River home to the point and place of beginning said to contain 12.460 acres of land on the southerly side of Delaware State Road Rt. 20 and 0.3 acres on the northerly side of Delaware State Rt. 20 to be the same more or less.
