AMEND House Bill No. 500 on line 9 by inserting between the word "magnetometer" and the comma "," the following phrase: "because there is no material permanently affixed that would be detectable by a metal detector or magnetometer".
FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 500 on line 13 by inserting between the words "include" and "materials" the following words: "permanently installed".
SYNOPSIS

This amendment provides that the materials used to ensure that a knife or other instruments are detectable by a metal detector or magnetometer are permanently attached. |
