HOUSE BILL NO. 313

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 19 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO WORKERS' COMPENSATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1. Amend § 2301(18) of Title 19 of the Delaware Code by inserting as a new “(d)” the following:

“(d) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder shall be covered as a personal injury as long as it is related to the occupation that the employee was engaged in or, if the person was deployed in a combat zone in the National Guard or the military or its reserves during the appropriate time period.”.

SYNOPSIS

This includes as a personal injury covered under workers’ compensation Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
