HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 493

AMEND House Bill No. 493 by adding a new section after line 4 and before the Synopsis to read as follows:

“Section 2. Amend § 4176C(c), Title 21 of the Delaware Code by striking paragraph 7 and substituting in lieu thereof the following:

‘(7) A person using an amateur radio who has been issued a valid FCC amateur radio license.’”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment exempts FCC licensed amateur radio operators as they are not necessarily employees of a qualifying business or government entity.
