HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE SUBSTITUTE NO. 1

FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 310

AMEND House Substitute No. 1 to House Bill No. 310 by striking line 57 and substituting in lieu thereof the following:

“(b) The powers and management of the Corporation shall be vested in a board of directors consisting of 11”

FURTHER AMEND House Substitute No. 1 to House Bill No. 310 by striking lines 64-69 and substituting in lieu thereof the following:

“(2)(A) The Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control;

(B) The Controller General;

(C) The Secretary of the Department of Health and Social Services;

(D) The Secretary of State;

(E) The Director of the Office of Management and Budget; and

(F) The Director of the Office of State Planning Coordination.

Any person serving as a director of the Corporation pursuant to this subparagraph (b)(2) may appoint a designee to serve in his or her stead.”

SYNOPSIS

This amendment expands the size of the board of the Fort DuPont Redevelopment and Preservation Corporation from 9 to 11 members. The 2 additional members are the Director of the Office of Management and Budget and the Director of the Office of State Planning Coordination.
