HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 25

AMEND House Bill No. 25 by deleting lines 4 through 6 in their entirety.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 25 at line 7 by deleting “(b)” and substituting in lieu thereof “(a)”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 25 at line 13 by deleting “(c)” and substituting in lieu thereof “(b)”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 25 at line 16 by deleting “(d)” and substituting in lieu thereof “(c)”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment removes permission for the statewide harvesting of gray foxes but retains the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control’s ability to issue a permit to a private landowner to manage gray foxes based on a wildlife management plan.
