SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 6

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 325

AMEND House Bill No. 325 at lines 14 and 118 by deleting “30” and substituting in lieu thereof “20”.

SYNOPSIS

This amendment establishes 20 days as the period of time in which NCIS is able to complete a background check before a prospective purchaser receives a firearm by default.
