AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 16 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE DEFINITION OF THE PATIENT-PRACTITIONER RELATIONSHIP.

This Act expands the definition of “patient-practitioner relationship” to include practitioners and patients, that provide and seek treatment for, opioid use disorder as defined in § 6003 of Title 24. This Act also makes technical corrections to conform existing law to the standards of the Delaware Legislative Drafting Manual.
