| Long Title: | AN ACT TO AMEND SUBCHAPTER VII-A OF TITLE 26 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENT ACT. |
| Synopsis: | This Bill updates the provisions of the Telecommunications Technology Investment Act of 1993 to reflect the competitive market that has emerged over the last 15 years for certain competitive services. It attempts to create a more level playing field among providers and eliminates administrative oversight and filing requirements with respect to these competitive services. It does not alter the current statutory scheme or rate structure governing the provision of residential or single line business dial tone lines or local usage. Nor does it alter the Public Service Commission’s current authority with respect to service quality over those services.
