| Long Title: | AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 11, CHAPTER 94 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE VICTIMS' BILL OF RIGHTS. |
| Synopsis: | This Bill adds a new section to the Victims’ Bill of Rights which states that no law enforcement officer, prosecuting officer or other government official shall use a victim’s refusal to submit to a polygraph examination or other truth telling device as a condition for proceeding or not proceeding with the investigation of an alleged sex offense against the victim. This amendment is required in order for the State of Delaware to continue receiving VAWA grants beyond January 2009.
