| Long Title: | AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 21 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO SPECIAL LICENSE PLATES AND PARKING PERMITS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES WHICH LIMIT OR IMPAIR THEIR ABILITY TO WALK. |
| Synopsis: | This Bill eliminates the requirements for a person with a permanent disability to obtain a new physician’s certification in order to have his or her special license plate or parking permit renewed. The individual with a disability shall be required to verbally confirm that he or she continues to require the special license plate for the reasons stated when it was initially issued. This bill shall prevent our citizens with disabilities from having to continually visit a physician to recertify a disabling condition the physician had already certified as a permanent condition.
