Long Title:AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 20 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE DELAWARE STATE POLICE READY RESERVE.
Synopsis:Section 1 will make it clear that the Superintendent can develop internal policies governing the selection and operation of the Ready Reserve without having to adopt formal regulations under the Administrative Procedures Act.
Section 2 will make it discretionary with the Superintendent whether members of the Ready Reserve have arrest powers consistent with the requirements of the Council on Police Training.
