Long Title:AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 14 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO CHANGING BOUNDARIES.
Synopsis:This legislation creates a window for the Milford and Woodbridge school districts to review their common boundary in Sussex County and arrive at a common boundary line using tax parcel data. This continues the process these two districts used to modify their common boundary in Kent County in 2008. It further allows the State Board of Education to affirm the local district actions using public processes of notification and public hearings. The two districts would have until January 1, 2010 to exercise this process.
