| Long Title: | AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 10 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO EXEMPTIONS. |
| Synopsis: | This Bill allows equity in real property to be protected from creditors to the same extent as equity in investments or other personal property assets. Currently a certain value in personal property assets such as stocks, bonds, cars, etc. can be exempted but investment equity in real estate that is not the debtor’s residence is not protected. This Bill will allow equal exemptions treatment between personal property investment value and real property net value.
