| Long Title: | AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 18 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO LINE-OF-DUTY DEATH BENEFITS. |
| Synopsis: | Presently ambulance attendants are defined as emergency medical technicians (EMTs) rather than ambulance attendants. Ambulance services are owned or operated by ambulance or fire departments, counties, or municipalities. This bill clarifies that ambulance drivers and State certified EMTs of ambulance or fire departments, counties, or municipalities are eligible for line-of-duty death benefits.
