| Long Title: | AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 24 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO PAWNBROKERS AND JUNK DEALERS. |
| Synopsis: | This Bill reduces the amount of time that a scrap metal processor must hold articles from 18 days to 7 days, making it manageable for processors while still providing sufficient time for law enforcement to track down any stolen items. It also adds a provision permitting scrap metal processors to use record-keeping forms different from the forms that State Police develop, provided that their local law enforcement agency approves the forms.
