| Long Title: | AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 16 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO IMMUNITY FOR DONATIONS TO VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENTS. |
| Synopsis: | This Act is intended to encourage governmental and/or private donations to volunteer fire departments by ensuring that any entity that donates “qualified fire control or rescue equipment” to the volunteer fire department shall not be liable for civil damages for personal injuries, property damage or loss, or death caused by the equipment after the donation unless such person’s action or omission causing the harm constituted gross negligence or intentional conduct.
