AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 29 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO REPORTING REQUIREMENTS BY VENDORS.
This Bill requires vendors who are awarded public works contracts or respond to public contracts or request for proposals to register with the Department of Administrative Services as to the vendors’ ownership status. The basis of any award will not be based, in whole or in part, on the certified status of the vendor. The requirement is to ensure that the state is able to capture information concerning the ownership status of vendors.
