This Amendment provides that if the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) adopts an MCL that is lower than an MCL established by this Act, the lower MCL established by the EPA will become the MCL for this State. This Amendment also changes the effective date of Senate Bill No. 72 from 90 days after enactment to January 15, 2026.
