This amendment limits the deduction for contributions to 529 “College Savings Plans” to individuals and couples with federal adjusted gross income of less $125,000 or $250,000 respectively. This amendment also clarifies that the amount deducted for qualified contributions to a 529 College Savings Plan may not exceed a total of $2,500 for an individual or couple.
