AN ACT CONCURRING IN A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE III OF THE DELAWARE CONSTITUTION OF 1897, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO CONFIRMATION OF OFFICERS APPOINTED BY THE GOVERNOR.
This is the second leg of a Constitutional Amendment that will increase the annual amount of compensation an officer must receive, from such position, before Senate confirmation is required. This Bill will increase the current amount of five hundred dollars to fifteen hundred dollars. The current amount of five hundred dollars has existed since 1897.
