This Amendment does all of the following: (1) Removes the requirement that a student must be registered in the student’s school district of residence before being eligible for the school choice process. (2) Moves lines 127 – 128 to above line 80. (3) Amends the birth certificate language to more closely align to the Office of Civil Rights guidance pertaining to registration/enrollment documentation requirements.
