AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 9 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR ELECTED COUNTY OFFICIALS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend § 332 of the Delaware Code by making insertions as shown by underlining and deletions as shown by strike through as follows:
§ 332. Traveling expenses.
The elected officials of the county governing body shall be allowed their necessary traveling expenses in connection with the duties of their office, which shall not exceed in any 1 year, for the total aggregate expenses of all the members of any county government, the sum of $2,500, or $5,000 in New Castle County.
Repealed.
Section 2. If any provision of this Act or the application of any section or part thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provision of this Act that can be given effect without the invalid provision or application.
Section 3. This provision of this Act shall be effective upon its enactment into law.
