Section 1. Amend Section 3 of Chapter 197, Volume 64, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by striking from the second sentence the words "and taxables".
Section 2. Amend Section 5(A) of Chapter 197, Volume 64, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by striking from the final clause of the section the word "ten" and replacing it with the word "twenty".
Section 3. Amend Section 5(H) of Chapter 197, Volume 64, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by striking the first sentence of the section so that only the second sentence remains.
Section 4. Amend Section 5 of Chapter 197, Volume 64, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by adding thereto the following:
"(J) Title 15 of the Delaware Code, as it relates to Municipal Elections, shall apply to all elections of the Town.".
Section 5. Amend Section 6 of Chapter 197, Volume 64, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by deleting the third word of the first sentence, "first" and replacing it with the word "second".
Section 6. Amend Section 15(C)1 of Chapter 197, Volume 64, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by striking the phrase "one hundred dollars ($100.00)" and replacing it with "fifty dollars ($50.00)".
Section 7. Amend Section 15(C)2 of Chapter 197, Volume 64, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by striking the phrase "one hundred dollars ($100.00)" and replacing it with "fifty dollars ($50.00)".
Section 8. Amend Section 15(D) of Chapter 197, Volume 64, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by striking from the last sentence "$100" and replacing it with "fifty dollars ($50)".
Section 9. Amend Section 18(A)(43) of Chapter 197, Volume 64, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by striking both in the first sentence and in the clause beginning, "PROVIDED HOWEVER," the phrase "One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00)" and replacing it with the phrase "25% of the assessed value of real property within the Town of Ellendale".
Section 10. Amend Section 20A of Chapter 197, Volume 64, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by striking from both the first sentence and the last sentence of the section the phrase, "Thirty Thousand dollars ($30,000)" and replacing it with the phrase, "Sixty Thousand dollars ($60,000)".
Section 11. Amend Section 40.3 and Section 40.4 of Chapter 197, Volume 64, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by deleting "Two" each time it appears therein and by inserting in lieu thereof each time "Five".
Section 12. Amend Section 40.3 and Section 40.4 of Chapter 197, Volume 64, Laws of Delaware, as amended, by deleting "two" each time it appears therein and by inserting in lieu thereof each time "five".
