AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 24 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO QUALIFICATIONS OF PSYCHOLOGISTS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:
Section 1. Amend § 3509(a)(2)a. of Title 24 of the Delaware Code by deleting the first two sentences in their entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"Has completed all requirements for a doctoral degree in psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program or an equivalent program approved by the Board. Psychological assistants registered before the effective date of this Act and who maintain their registration are exempt from this requirement."
