SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1
AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 14 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS BOARD.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section. 1 Amend § 1206(a)(4), Chapter 12, Title 14 of the Delaware Code by deleting the words “selected from a list supplied by the Delaware Congress of Parents and Teachers” and inserting in lieu thereof the following: “selected from a list supplied by the Secretary of Education. The Secretary shall solicit nominations from groups such as the Delaware Congress of Parents and Teachers, the Delaware Parent Leadership Institute, and formal advisory councils”.
Section 2. Amend § 1206(c) Chapter 12, Title 14 of the Delaware Code by inserting the words “or person” between the words “organization” and “shall” as they appear in the first sentence therein.
