AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 14 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO CHANGING SCHOOL DISTRICT BOUNDARIES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE :
Section 1. Amend §1026(d)(1) of Title 14 of the Delaware Code by placing a period (.) after January 1, 2006 and deleting the following:
“, and any real property being transferred must be contiguous to the school district to which the transfer is requested.”
Section 2. This Amendment shall be effective upon its enactment into law.
